WHAT'S NEW

December 2011: New Acquisition

In the final days of the year, Stonegate Properties acquired West Highland Plaza in Kitchener. This property has enormous potential for repositioning, as it is located in a commerce-intensive area close to downtown and in close proximity to many national brand tenants. We look forward to bringing our hands-on management approach to this property.

March 2011: Stonegate Plaza Facelift

Stonegate Plaza, located at the intersection of Stone Road and Edinburgh Rd. S in Guelph, just across from Stone Road Mall, will be getting a major facelift in 2012. A two-storey office addition and general upgrading of the plaza exterior will enhance this successful property.

January 2009: 2008 Returns Above Industry Standard

Returns for investors in the Stonegate Group of Companies have once again exceeded the industry average by a considerable margin. See Stonegate Properties Quarterly for details.

January 2009: Investor Syndicate Mortgage

Stonegate Properties Inc. is partnered with Stonegate Morgage Corporation to facilitate financing of investments. An investor syndicated mortgage on one of the properties held by Stonegate was arranged in January 2009. Please see the NEWS RELEASE for details and contact us for more information if you are interested in opportunities of this nature.

September 2008: First Stonegate Property Going Solar

Campbellville Country Court is the first of our properties to bear evidence of our resolve to create more sustainable, healthier environments for our tenants and communities.

In 2007 Stonegate Properties partner Red Rabbit Energy Corporation conducted feasibility studies on the effectiveness of retrofitting this plaza and other Stonegate properties with solar panels and other alternate energy systems.

A 5 kw solar photovoltaic panel was installed on the roof of the Campbellville plaza in August 2008 by Red Rabbit Energy and Arntjen Solar NA. It feeds green energy directly to the electricity grid. See NEWS RELEASE for more information.
